Breaking News: Famous Andover Italian Restaurant Will Donate 20% of its Sales to Lawrence Learns!

By Jose Alfonso Garcia, Senior Editor:

Lawrence Learns!  a collective effort between Lawrence Public Schools (LPS) and community agencies to support and celebrate successful transitions into Lawrence preschool and kindergarten programs is holding today, Wednesday, March 22nd. Its first fundraiser to help the celebration of early childhood education in Lawrence.

Its mission is to raise awareness about the importance of early learning, to support timely school registration, and to provide information about school readiness – and access to community resources — for families and students entering preschool and kindergarten in the Lawrence Public Schools.

The Chateau, a well-known Italian restaurant in Andover MA has generously agreed to partner with Lawrence Learns!  Donating 20% of all dine in or takeout orders purchased on Wednesday March 22, to Lawrence Learns!

This is a great opportunity to make donations for a very special cause and at the same time, enjoy a delicious Italian lunch.

Costumers are expected to present a copy of the flyer or a picture of it in your cell phone in order to complete the transaction.

Last year, Lawrence Learns! was able to provide school readiness gift bags with school supplies to all kindergarten and preschool children who registered for Lawrence Public Schools, and more than 700 new students and their families enjoyed our milestone celebration.

This year Lawrence Learns! will be hosting its second annual block party for all preschool and kindergarten students who have been registered for kindergarten between May 1 and June 30. This event relies wholly on community partnerships, sponsorship, and fundraising efforts.

Please help support our efforts by enjoying dinner with family and friends on March 22nd. Just show picture of the picture from your phone and 20% of your order will be donated Lawrence Learn!
